replacing oil pressure sender

Do I have to dump the oil to replace the sender unit?? no big deal I just don't have any new oil to replace it with at the moment

No, you do not need to drain the oil. You might get a few drops when you remove the old one.

even if you did drain the oil you would get a few drops when removing the sender.
