Where has manifold studs?
Ok guys, looking for a little help today. I have the common broken off manifold studs on my V-10. I can get them out with no problem but where has replacement studs? I called autozone and they said they don't have them. It's Sunday and my Ford dealer is closed. Any ideas? I've heard that they are metric so finding bolts will be tough.

You will probably have to go to a Ford dealer to get studs. Honestly there no way I would put those crappy studs back in. The thread size is M8 X 1.25mm. I would just put in some grade 10.9 bolts in place of the studs. The flange on the manifolds (where it bolts up) is .500" thick and there are about 7/8" thread depth in the cylinder heads so a bolt length of 30mm or 35mm should work. Use a lock washer or star washer to help keep the bolts from backing out. Heres a link to a place you can get bolts and lock washers from McMaster-Carr. Also check and make shure your exhaust manifolds are not warped. The whole breaking studs issue is why I put headers on my V10.
