Amplifier and woofer placement
And, people talk about mounting amp's under the seat, but what do you do about the cable that connects the two seat mounting rails? Can it be pulled up out of the way somehow? Or is there a way to mount against the back of the cab without putting holes through the cab to the exterior?

I've done several amps like this, horizontal or vertical, i've never had one fall off.
1"x1.5" at each corner is plenty of surface area for silicone to hold the amp.
I would recomend silicone adhesive. Comes in a bunch of colors, works great. The best part about it is that it gives an excellent strength, but when you remove it, it doesn't rip apart the material.
For the bass tube- I wouldn't recomend those. I never liked the way they sounded. I've had better luck using a free air woofer or a shallow design woofer in a shallow box.
Depending on what kind of music you listen to, going over 10" for a sub is usually pointless. An 8" will give you great sound for all kinds of music. I listen to classic rock, blues, jazz, etc. A good sub in an 8" size works great.
6.5" sized subs- why not just get 6.5" radial woofers with crossovers and put them in the doors or kick panels?
