Real nice looking truck. I paid 27,000 for my 2005 FX4 brand new (stickered for 35,495.). I can't say I have ever heard of an FX4 from any year going new for that much though. Sounds like you got a nice deal.

What i'm trying to say is I haven't heard of a brand new F-150 FX4 ever going for over $42,000.

His profile says he's from Canada, so the original sticker price is Canadian dollars.

I was wondering how the hell a Scab got close to $40K...my FX4 Screw's MSRP was $44 or 45k and it's basically a loaded out Lariat

Yes the Canadian dollar was pretty weak back then,22 grand is the going price for these around here,I told dealer what I wanted and they found it for me,took a bit but I like it,it is much nicer than my old 87 F-150 4x4!!

The MSRP on my Lariat was only 40k. The only options I don't have are the sunroof, nav, and powerfold mirrors. I'm getting the mirrors, but my sense of direction rivals a GPS, and suroofs are a waste of money in Colorado, except for 3-4 days out of the year.

I paid 28.5k cash after the rebates and 3hrs of arm wrestling with the dealer.

Are those factory mud flaps? My 05 FX4 did not come with any.

they do look nice, but remember the bad thing about those hard mudflaps...they break. if you're offroading and the tire comes down off an obstacle, the first thing to hit is usually the mud flaps

they do look nice though

Nice truck. Love your cap. You had me worried for a minute. I thought you had bought it new, but realized afterwards, it's used. My bad. I hope you enjoy it..
