wheel hub
hey i am working on doing a wheel hub and have it all torn down hub lock is off snap on the axle is off rotor is off 4 nuts on the back of the bearing/hub off and the thing wont come off their is a stud running through the bearing the comes out where the nuts were it is threaded on both is does this have to come out somehow or is the knuckle just not threaded and i am being a ***** with the hammer

use alot of penetrating oil as the through studs are what are holding it in.I use a chisel and try to get it between the bearing and knuckle and also put one of the stod bolts back on and hit the stud from behind with a punch. Chances are that one of the lower studs is hoding you back.And dont worry about the dust sheid too much as it will straighten out pretty well with a hammer after you get it apart. good luck I've been there many times before.
