On the road again!!!!

Took the 78 out for a raod test today and everything works great. Second pic is what the air cleaner looked like when I took it off. Yuck!!!

Where's the rest of the motor?????!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Had the Crew Cab out today too, $50 gas for 3/4 tank, used almost half of it to go get some tires for the 'Trep!! It is good to drive these old things though!!!! I really need a stereo in there though!! CBC Radio is getting old fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We'll have to get together agian someday soon, we can check out the our trucks, I guess we should try for another Regina meet.

Me too, if it turns out to be a real good runner I got some more plans for that motor. Sure pulls strong right now, didn't realize how bad the old one was till I put a good one in. Next step is to replace the window felts and wipers on both doors and fix the signal light cancel in the steering column. Oh, and make a new boot for the gear shift.

the 240 in my 66 has more zip that the 300 in the 83. Different gearing , standard verses auto I guess.

Yes, we should definitely try for another Regina meet! I would be nice to have more than just the two of us, but that was good too!
