Aother future ranger hint!

I just read on blue oval news that future car designs by ford would rely heavily on Europe. Large p/u designs would come from North America and future compact p/u designs would rely on Asia and Africa. Future compact p/u designs must mean ford intends tp keep offering compact p/u's. This was in reference to products to be sold in North America. Since Asia and Africa have a new compact ford p/u, that could be the one will we be getting, or the next generation of the new designs, either way, there's still hope for the ranger. You can read the article at (BlueOvalNews) Ford News, Ford Forum, Ford Reviews, Ford Blogs, 2008 Shelby GT500KR, 2007 GT500, GT500 forums, 2007 Shelby GT500, 2009 Boss Mustang, Ford Edge forums,Lincoln MKS, Ford Fusion, Ford Fusion forums, Fusion news, Fusion reviews, Fusion SV.

Also my sources still say a V-8 will be an option in the next small ford p/u as GM and dodge have the V-8 option. So that tells me the truck will need to grow a little in size. I've seen how wild a V-8 can be in the current sized ranger, I'm sure ford doesn't want any part of that liability. I'm sure were looking at a more of a mid sized truck, at least a little bigger. My hope is that they keep it to the small side as thats a lot of the rangers alure.

Gas prices don't have to go down for fords sqake, they make econo boxes too. If your refering to a V-8 in the ranger, it will only be an option for those who want it. A 4 cylinder or V-6 will be the base engine as allways I'm sure.
