Sorry dude if he's an newer 08 LMM your toast. Get some sunscreen or hats for that bald head! I own an LMM and have done boosted launches and no boost launches and I have run Dodges, Fords and even GT Mustangs and haven't lost one yet! The Stang was the closest race! GM trucks are 1000 pounds lighter and more hp, your lucky if you win. As far as the Ally having to low 1st gear mine screams off the line and has never hiccuped ever! My 6.0 falls behind 6-10 truck lengths when I run against my wife in the Ex. Only did that once, now that was funny! I told her to floor it and not let off till 75mph. Even gave here a little head start!

Well with his 35's your best bet is come off the line as hard as you can! That's where you will have to get him, but who know maybe his 08 is a dog? Prolly not though...... If the guy knows how to race a diesel he really should win, if not you may get him!

I heard the 6.0s have a bit of trouble if your floor them right off the line, I would put it in 4x4, and do a slight boosted launch, you *MIGHT* have a chance then.

Sounds like you've got a lot of great advice here. Wonder if your boss is getting the same from a different source.
