Question about Sirius trial

I didn't see this answered anywhere and the dealer didn't mention it. How does the trial work? Does Ford register your car in your name, and then Sirius send you info about renewing when the trial is over?

I am wanting to go ahead and register in my name and activate the Playboy station. Just wanted to know if I needed to wait on some info from Sirius or whatever?

It seems the trial was in Ford's name when I activated mine. They got my info from Ford and sent me the info directly when the 6 months was up. I had to basically set up a new account with them when the time was up.

Where can you register with the vin? Whenever I go to the site it asks for an ESN/SID. Where can I find this?
