motor swap help

hey has anyone done a motor swap on the f150;s. I have a 1999 f250 LD which looks exactly like the f150's. I bought it with a blown motor so ive gotta tear it apart and swap motors.

whats the easiest way to swap engines. Does the entire front clip come off like the older trucks. Or should I just pull it straight up like a car.

I'd take the front clip, or doghouse, off. There's not much room on these trucks, and definitely not enough to get it out without taking the front clip off, some even take the cab/doghouse off as one unit.

the front clip dosnt come off, its an easy pull...just pull all the accesories, and the radiator and condensor, fan, and the intake manifold and it will slide right out the top with no troubles...
