Saggy Front 01 V10 Excursion

I have a 01 V10 Excursion that has only 79004.8 miles on it and it has saggy front end to the point of where the springs are a quarter of an inch from touching the stops and was wondering if I put a set of front 05 deisel springs on what kind of concerns may I encounter.I have a chance to nab these for pennies on the dollar and would like some feedback on this. Regards Bob

IMHO, there won't be much difference between the two.

If you don't mind some extra height, go for the B&V code F250 spring swap for the front and rear.

IMHO, lol.... well, this has been discussed so many times.. is yours 2wd or 4wd? if its a 4x4, then before you get the f250 springs, find out what code they are. its possibe to be the same as what you have now. it is also possible that they are the v or x codes. the v code will give you 2" of front end lift. if they are v or x's, then go for them.

OH, IF THEY ARE FROM AN 05 4X4, THEY WONT FIT YOURS. THE 05+ 4X4 ARE COIL SPRING FRONTS.

the spring code is on the b pillar sticker of the truck at the bottom. if you dont know the code from the truck that they came off of, i think its a crap shoot. either way, the ones that were on yours are probably at least 1 code different than the diesel. my 01 v10 4x4 came with c fronts and g rears. now they are v front and b rear. oh, they will definately fit....
