Overhead Computer? Please help

Overhead Computer? Please help
Does anyone know where I can get directions on how to re-cal the overhead computer. I know that you hold down both buttons and it changes to "ZONE" (have no idea what zone I am in as related to what the computer sees) I am however in middle Tennessee but the options are 1 thru 15 I think. I also Know that if you continue to hold the two buttons down "cal" comes up on the screen in the lower right corner. I guess the reason I am asking I have done this many times and the ave. MPG never changes. I just completed a 2000 mile trip and I averaged my fuel mileage over 4 tanks of fuel going and coming ( 8 times I filled up several times with 3/4 empty tank, empty tank and 1/2 empty tank and reset mileage each time) and I got right at 17.78mpg and the overhead computer never got over 13.7mpg. I know that the computer is not very accurate but I feel it should be closer than that and at least change some if I have my foot in it or just coasting down hill ( I have even put it in netrual at the top of a hill and coasted at 50+ mph for over 2 miles and it will not change.
