Chasis Help

I have a '64 F100 that has basically been stripped of its parts and left to rot in a field. The body however is straight and in pretty good shape. I want to restore it to be a daily driver while still keeping its outer appearance the same. I read in a car magazine that a company in California takes classic cars and puts corvette chasis' on them making them more driver friendly and up to date. I'd like to something like this with my truck but I'm not sure how. Should I just replace the suspension with something new, or do I need put a whole chasis on it. If so, where can I find that, or what types of cars or trucks would be good to take it from? Any help would be appreciated.

If you want it to be useful as a pickup, use a newer pickup chassis. If you just want to drive around and look cool (and want lowered) use a big car chassis.

2 cents..
