69/70 351W IDENTIFICATION

I don't have any references with me currently and am looking at a supposed 69 351W engine on Friday. Can anyone tell me the proper casting number for the 69-70 351W block? C9OE, D0OE come to mind, but I just can't remember. Also, it should have a 3 bolt harmonic dampener if it is an early block, right? Thanks for the help!

Your right, C9 designates '69 castings and D0 designates '70 castings.

yes my understanding that 70 and earlier came with 3 bolt balancer. take care.

Look at the block on the machined surface near the starter. It will have the build date stamped into it.
