First off...i hope a da somewhere finds some license plate numbers and prosecutes them for street racing.. that has no business being done on the streets....
second.....I don't think that ranger is stock...i'd bet ya that someone swaped in a 5.0 in that...thats just to fast, especially after the shift...

Ok, well true it's not the smartest thing to do. However, no one else has never done anything stupid in thier life right? I look at it this way no, I don't approve and no it's not smart to do, however, at least they were'nt doing it in town on city streets or on a buisy highway. And yes I would say the ranger isn't stock.

I'm the first to admit that i've done some stupid things....but i paid for most of them (hello officer), but if you recall i think it was just a month or so ago that the 8 people were killed by a street race gone bad in california, With the advent of so many street class drag race strips now, get to a drag strip to have your fun.

I'm pretty sure it was all staged, I've looked this race up before, the ranger has a stroked 302, I'm sure the SRT10 driver was informed from the beginning, and I don't think someone could mistake the sound of a hot rod ford v8 over a 4cyl or v6 :-P

A stroker 302...likely a 347. They will get 450 hp out of that combo without too much trouble. The Ranger weighs at least 1500 lbs less, the Dodge smoked his tires and the Ranger didn't when the race started...he beat him out of the hole.I thought the Ranger should have beaten the Dodge worse than it did...but the Dodge has tons of torque...

i thought it was going to be another "BUMPER BOUNCE" thing (stupid stupid stupid) and i thought the ranger was going to break something and more. it turned out being a race. i kept on looking at bumper bounces and everybody always seems to go against the f150. its weird on the most popular ones with the chevy and tundra, the other driver versus the f150 is always the one hitting the brakes first. except the dodge ram!
