We just got a '96 Ford F150 with a 4" lift given to us in great shape, it has been sitting though for that past 6 years only being driven occasionally. We replaced the tires on it and after having them replaced we noticed that the front end sits now about 4" lower then the back does now, and I am not sure why.

The shocks that are on there are 5117/5112 RS5000 Shocks

The front shocks look like they are completely compressed. Any Ideas as to what would cause this and why the course of action is that I should take?

Was the truck dropped off at a shop for the new tires? It's been awhile since I've seen stock front springs, but those sure look like stock pieces to me.

That is the only explanation that I can think of.

This is just my idea, but I dont know a whole lot of anything. If they are gas shocks maybe somthing happened and they lost their gas, I would just take it to a shop, I dont like messing with the front end suspension to much room for error.
