Engine paint
I will be dimantaling my 5.0L EFI for cleaning. I want to glass bead all the aluminum parts. Is there a clear coat I can use to keep the new look or is there a paint that looks like aluminum I can use. Also the upper plenium is gray which I would like to keep it that colour but can I get a match from some place? Has anyone use a exhaust manifold paint with good results? Thanks.

A clear varnish will help keep the aluminum looking fresh. Krylon Cast Aluminum paint looks real good if you want a aluminum paint. The plenium is Ford Argent, I think the only place to get it is from Ford.

Exhaust manifold paint
Goggle "Eastwood company",and at the top of the page, search "manifold paint". The high temp, gray exhaust paint works well. It has be around for years. Part number, 10365Z. Have a great day, chuck
