Work sucks!

Had big plans for another mod weekend, cold AC, hutch, harpoon mods, prepump filter, maybe finally getting around to installing my wicked wheel( I keep putting that one off because I'm finding other quicker mods). Also gotta do some routine maintanance stuff. Oh yeah and do some more upgrading on previous mods! And wouldnt you just know it.....At 4:21 the boss came around and said gota workthe weekend! Now looks like I'll be lucky to just get the routine stuff done. If I was only RICH!

Better than a getting your hours cut, or a lay off notice.

But I do understand what your saying, I had to postpone many weekends plans because of work.

Do what my dad always told me....take all of the over time you can get and save it. You'll need it some day.

He was right. That OT has saved my butt more than a couple of times. I work 10 hrs/day, six days a week and sometimes seven. I hate being broke.

If it was fun they wouldn't call it work. Besides. It gives you something to complain about.

Pacing yourself on the mods isn't a bad idea either. There's not too many on here that have said "I'm finished with my mods" There always seems to be one more thing.

Or get paid on flate rate hours like me and get totally hosed like I have been only flagging 6 hrs a day, but usually being there for 8, I am tired of being a mechanic, and Im 23 its ok thought Im looking for a new job, It could be a good thing I have more time to do stuff, but no money to pay for it

Hah. I can tell you I am getting real close to my goal performance wise. I may be done next week. Then I hope to be relegated to cosmetic stuff I see fit to do. Oops, there is always the tranny. Damn, and the PMRs, 2x damn. Gotta keep it real.

As for OT, I don't like it. Had 1.5 hours today, but worth it helping catch idiots shooting at folks in the Wal Mart parking lot. Effin idiots. Stolen gun and all. Another in the list of stupid criminal stories.
