Valve Cover Bolts?

Valve Cover Bolts?
How tight should aftermarket Valve Cover bolts be? I have heard that they shouldn't be tightened very tight but I don't want them to leak. What do you guys suggest, by the way its a 1984 351w. Thanks

10-15 ft*lbs, but no more. This is not very tight, if you don't have a Torque wrench to gage it by. Too much torque and it will warp the rails, so it won't seal right. err on the side of not enough torque, the valve cover shouldn't take much to seal it, usually the weight of the cover is enough to keep it from leaking.
