just picked up a new oil filter from napa
it comes with the plastic top already on it they say you throw out your old top . when did they start doing this and why? has any body heard of this?

Take that filter back to NAPA and get a real filter. You can get one a Wally world for $19.00<O

I could not agree more with those above who said not to use the NAPA/Wix filter. The link below explains why...
