yesterday I installed the front shocks in the truck. It was surprisingly easy! I wish everything went in that smoothly. I definately notice a difference in the ride quality. so this weekend will be the rear shocks.
Now I've heard that the rear is going to be a great deal harder than the front. Is this true? and why? It doesn't look like it's such a different process than the front. I definately want to do the remaining two shocks though.
Heh, I have ALWAYS gotten my shocks from a Sears auto center....
Before you all laugh
Their price per shock has been the same as any other place in town, and they run a free install sale about every other week, so I have yet to pay for installation.
I drop the car off, walk around the mall for an hor, come back and its done, without costing me any more mula!

Really? thats interesting. I wonder if they carry a shoch thats comperable to the "Gabriel Pro-Guard's" I just put in the front? hhhhmmm I'll have to watch for that sale at the store in my area.
I didn't really have much trouble with the rear shocks on mine. The hardest part I do remember was having to compress the shocks by hand so that it would fit into the bracket on the axle. I just laid on the ground and basically did a bench press on them. Wasn't too hard and I wouldn't say I'm the strongest person.... Fronts were definitely easier though.
