Exhaust manifolds
Hello I accidently broke the flange off a 302 exhaust manifold . This manifold was from a early 68 302 . The manifold is unusual because the diameter gets bigger as each cylinder dumps into as it goes to the rear. The cylinder dumps also seem longer than usual. The mate on the left side looks almost like a cast iron header.I know I messed up big. I want to know if I messed up really really big.I have no idea what this engine came out of but the metal tag code translates to 1968 4V high compression 1-68. The bearings were marked 11-67 but the heads are early style 68 302 2v. Any thoughts ? thanks Travis

Sounds like 289 High Performance manifolds?? They look like what youve described - much different than the standard "log type" manifolds. Check "Mustangs Plus" website (or many others) to see if they have a picture in their on-line catalog to see if they match yours.
