Can someone check these casting #'s ?
I'm hoping someone can lookup this casting # on the intake of the 302 in my '51 F1. C5AE9425D I did a search and found an old thread. C5=1965? The 3rd charecter is the car line? V=Lincoln, what is A?

If I understand Ford part numbers, look at the first four characters. You have the year right, but it looks like it's from a Galaxie. The fourth character indicates that it's an engine part. Why Ford felt it necessary to make sure you knew that an intake is an engine part only Henry knows.
For future reference:
A - Galaxie
O - Fairlane
S - T-bird
T - Truck
U - Van
V - Lincoln
Z - Mustang

And it's great to know that my suspicions were correct, that my intake is indeed part of my motor
I'm gonna sevice my tranny this weekend and will be looking for the block #'s. I assume they translate the same?
Do you know where on the block I should start looking?
