I have been doing research on a lift kit to fit 36x13.50x18 under the truck. Every manufacture tells me 4" is enough. Then I called 4Wheelparts tells me 6". I called 4wheelparts and they told me 8"lift is a must. I can not get a good answer. How much lift for a 2005 F350?
I have a DR all spring 6" on my 2004 PSD F250. I run 37x12.5.17 wheels. I could probably run a 38" if I did some trimming, but it would rub. Four Wheel Parts are idiots. They used to be an all around good store when they would do fabrication, installs and stuff like that. Now they are all retail and they sell ***** retail at that. Dude if you got a 6" lift it will be enough.
I recommend 8" if you can swing it. I am not familiar with the coil front suspension (I think you have it...I could be wrong) but do yourself a favor......if your application has a "panrod" bar buy an adjustable model from Donahoe when you do your suspension.
Don't use your old one....you will fight it for a while to reinstall.
