Any guesses

As to what could have created that spray pattern on the tube? I dunno how long its been there. Checked for cats and rodents but did not find any. hehehe

Looks almost like oil but leaning more towards dirt.. Could be loose boot on the IC connection.. or dirt somewhere thrown by the engagement of the cooling fan..

id be guessing you have a hole in the boot down below the pict,... the spray is the oil that ya find from the ccv

Well we dont know if it's oil.. The picture isn't a good one to confirm its oil. He's goign to need to actually check it and feel to see if its oil. My first guess would be oil from a tear, but heck it could be dirt.. Never know with these big bertha's.. They just LOVE getting dirty LMAO.. I can't seem to keep mine clean.. DOH

picture doesn't really show too much. Clean the engine compartment and see if it reappears. It really doesn't look like much to be concerned about. if there are no signs of oil seepage near the silcone tubes you are good.
