351w mounts
I am trying to find a truck with a 351w to take it out and putt it in my 85 f150. I was wondering if a truck in the 70s mounts would work in my 85 or do i have to find a truck in the 80s. any help would be great

351w mounts
The only difference between 70's and 80's truck mounts is the bolt through the frame mount changed to metric but it's roughly the same size. I had one standard and one metric mount in my 87 with no problems. If your truck has a 302 right now, just re-use those mounts. Van mounts are entirely different, you can't use them.
