Citing Supreme Court ruling, 17 states want to force rules within 60 days


Seventeen states on Wednesday sued the Bush administration to force it to comply with a Supreme Court ruling that rebuked what justices called inaction on global warming.

wish i could leave mine! it's on that list. bad thing ! i just came back from being in HI. for 2 weeks looking at homes. the smog is as bad there as here. with it all coming from the far east. and boy do i mean bad and thick.

2700 miles at sea and full of heavy smog.that stinks big time

 

That sucks, I haven't been to HI in ten years and it was nice then. It's nice and clear out here in the desert, and houses are reasonable too, as long as you stay out of the big cities. Can you legally sue the government anyhow? I didn't think you could.

 

on maui it was alfull. such a shame as the natives all blame the far east.the countys i'm sure you can name also.

 

Well at least europe will get clean air. Meanwhile we will be choking on Asia's garbage air.

What ever happened to the hole in the Ozone layer that we've heard so much about many years ago. The pollution must have sealed that sucker up.

 

Surely the first those States would have to do is convince somebody, anybody that global warming (if it exists) is caused by mankind. Something that is very unlikely.

 

That's funny, because I would have thought that the MD General Assembly and clueless governor were too busy chasing businesses and citizens out of the state with higher taxes, idiotic laws and unchecked overspending. I guess they had some extra time on their hands.

 

There are those in this great country that will not be satisfied until we are all living in mud huts.
