You have no cheap way to lower the original since you have twin-i-beams. Probably the cheapest would be to cut the old suspension off and use a suspension clip off a car. A lot of work though, and you sort of have to know what you are doing.
There was just a thread about this the other day. Flip kit in the rear, and dream beams or drop spindles if available up front plus shorter shocks is the only safe way to lower these things.
Back in the old days, they would flip the rear and either cut coils out of the front, or heat them up with a torch and jump on the front end. You got a lowered stance, with the added feature of a shortened travel and a harsh ride.
