I am thinking about getting this and am looking at it later tonight. I called the guy and he said it has no rust and the 2.9 withe 105,000 miles but he said it's still mechanically sound no leaks etc., but the price seems a little steep for a 2wd.
Thanks. He's pretty firm on the 1,500 price and it neede alot of work and it was a northern car where it had seen snow and roadsalt. So I'm not goona jump on that one.
However I did see a VERY Clean all original '67 Mustang coupe for sale on the way home..............
He kept trying to tell me they are worth alot of money and people "restore" them. He even showed me a 1985 B2 that he had that he had just payed 6k for a month ago! The clear coat was peeling on it, had a lot of miles and had just as much rust as the one he was trying to sell me. The only good thing I could see about the other one that might make it worth more is that it had 4x4. But that definatly wouldn't make it worth 6 grand. I'm glad I didnt buy his "rare sundowner".
