It wasn't a problem with the site, or the cookies, or logging out, or Internet Explorer. It was related to my ISP's DNS Server. It wasn't hooking up right. (I am not a computer geek. I know just enough to be dangerous.)
From what I've been able to figure out, DNS Servers translate the web site description (ie: "Google") into the language the Internet needs to find the site (ie: "64.233.167.147") That's as much as I know about that.
I found the solution by installing a free program called Treewalk (TreeWalk DNS Home). Apparently, this program takes over the DNS Server duties from your ISP, so it's goodby DNS error messages.
Anyway, it's good to be able to access FTE from home again!
I uninstalled it and reinstalled and now it works on both XP systems.
It does not work on the Vista system and I have not found a way to make it work.
On another tech forum they talked about and some used OpenDNS But all it did for me was lick me in the site and I could not go to any other place on the net!
Will keep working on the problem.
