DPFE Sensor Question P0402
I drove my truck to AutoZone and effectively bypassed the stealerships diagnostic fee. Code P0402. Went to the dealer and they want $139.__ (4/1/08) for a DPFE sensor which I'm assuming is bad based on my research on the internet. So my question is should I go dealer or aftermarket for this part if this is what really needs replacing in the first place. Thank you.

I replaced the DPFE sensor on my truck back in Dec. for an P0401 code. I got my sensor from directfordparts online and saved a considerable amount than if I had purchased from the local dealership. I know its not the same code, but you can save a lot on OEM parts looking around the internet. Also, go with a factory ford sensor, too many people have had problems with the non-OEM DPFE.
