Thinking about selling

Last fall I moved from Seattle to Colorado Spring and took up a job driving long haul. I really love it and like to stay out for 30 days at a time then spend 5 or so days at home. When I'm home I don't do much driving, just a trip to the grocery store and maybe buy some clothes. Everywhere else I go with family and they normally give me a lift.

It doesnt make any sense to me to have this big ol truck sitting in the street for a month while I'm away only to drove a couple times when I'm home. I drive it so little that I haven't even bought fuel for it since October!

I'm thinking it might make more sense to sell it and buy a cheap used 250 motorbike. The insurance I'd pay to not be driving it would sure be cheaper, and I could keep it in the garage where I wouldn't have to worry about it.

How much could I sell my truck for? I wouldn't be looking for top dollar, just a fair price. It is an '86 F250 XLT Lariat 4x4 6.9L C6. It has some body damage, a topper and a fairly new CD player.

That would depend on the local market.

I can say 4x4 is a nice thing to have in Colorado though.
I left there in 85, but I sure did see a lot of snow while I was there.
I lived in Broomfield and Arvada for 8 years, long haul meat hauler, so I was home almost every 5 or 6 days.
