over heating need help bad!!

Hi all, I have a 03 f350 drw long bed. In november the water pump was replaced. Along with the over flow pressure jug. I just replaced the thermastat, still have the same problem.
When I start the truck and start driving it the temp creeps up to normal. I do not get any heat through the heat vents in the cab. I will get heat coming out when the truck starts to climb past normal temp.
I can no put my foot in the throttle and drive normal, the truck will jump up to the red. I take my foot out of it and the temp drop's. I am getting heat out of the vents the whole time now. The cluch fan seems to be working, just fine. I have checked between all the coolers and nothing blocking the air flow. What do you guy's think??? I need help, NO MORE warranty. Thanks RP

I still don't under stand why I'm not getting any heat in the cab until it gets to warm, close to very hot!
I'm missing something here? I just wonder if the new water pump's shaft broke, or if I need to really burp it. I was hoping some one else might of had this problem, to may be help me out any ideas are welcome!! thank's RP

agree with bowtie i had a new pump installed and the impeller broke away from the shaft around 10,000 miles. would do the exact same thing letting you drive short distance and then heat up and take a while to cool down.

Are you just going by the gauge? Is it reaching the point where it is blowing out?

Thank's for all the help every one. The dealer just called me, They had been working on my truck since 8 this morning. I called at 2pm to find out what was up, and it's a cracked propeller shaft, on the new water pump, installed 4,000 miles ago glad it was covered under warranty.
