Instead of typing your reply in the "quick reply" box, hit the "go advanced" box. Scroll down past the box you can type in. Below the "submit reply" button, is an "additional options" block. In that block, second box down is a button, "manage attachments"

Click that. The first line will have a box, and a button to the right that says browse. Click browse, go to the folder on your computer where the picture is, and double click the picture. Then just click upload.

Now if the file is too big, you'll have to make it smaller.
Another option is to go to Photobucket Tutorials A free online site you can post pics on, then copy url/img to your post.

Create a gallery
Then upload the picture to your gallery.

The picture has to be on a hosting service or the FTE server before you can post it here.

25 posts is where everything starts working for members.
With 57 you are good to go.

If you create a gallery you can upload your pics to FTE's server, then add them to any post.

To create a user gallery click on the "User CP" link on the left side of the page header (right above the Post Reply button) From there it's prety intuitive....look for the gallery link in the settings menu.

Yes. Edit gallery. Don't hit submit until you have added a photo or two.

Since you have no gallery yet, you need to click "create" after you click "Edit Gallery"

With this new forum software, You may need to go to the top of the page in the grey bar and click "Galleries" then click "Manage/Create" before the "Edit Gallery" button will work.

Did you give up on it? Any photo hosting software (photobucket, webshots, etc.) will enable you to post pics in your threads on FTE, but you have to get them online somewhere.
