Has anyone experienced a problem with the accelerator sticking on the 06 or similar years? On de-accelerate is ok so i don't have a problem with safety only sticks slightly upon accelerating. Is there a adjustment for this or a lubrication point.
The accelerator on the 6.0 is a fly by wire. There is no mechanical conneciton between it and the engine. It has three redundent actuators in one. Two need to be working for the accelerator to work.
I don't know if the gassers are the same?

Yes i realize these are fly-by-wire and no "mechanical" connection to the engine. My problem exist's with the "pedal" specifically. I have not yet really investigated the actual pedal movement but thought someone may have experienced this and be able to give me a quick pedal adjustment point (return spring ect..) or lubrication point.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have driven a truck that did what I think you are saying. It was not a smooth travel of the pedal. Not bad, not unsafe, just annoying. As you pressed the pedal you could feel a slight snag. Holding my foot with some lateral force would make it worse or better.
I recommended to the owner of that truck that he take it back for warranty repair. But you may well be out of the 36k mile warranty period.
Sorry, can't tell you how to fix. But if I was footing (pun) the bill I would pull it out and see if anything can be done. If not, just replace it. It was annoying enough to me that I would not have let it be.
I have the extended warranty so i don't think i'll screw with it. Your right, it is currently just a annoyance as it only seems to do it mid thru full throtle.
Thanks again
Dave
