Mass Air/ Roller?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-Sep-02 AT 07:09 PM (EST)]Does anyone know for sure what year the factory changed from flat tappet to roller cam in the 351W? How about what year exactly they converted to Mass Air? I have a chance to buy a 351w out of a 1995 F150 with only 65,000 miles on it(compared to my 1993 at almost 160,000). I thought this engine would have been mass air but it wasnt. Am I safe to assume its also not a roller engine? Since it is not mass air, I shouldnt have any issues with swapping it in my truck should I? Im beginning to think no one knows for sure!
