I recently paid $188 per tire in a local shop on Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst for Goodyear Silent Armor 285/75R16's...

I remember that I checked all over the place, including the internet, and found that I couldn't beat that price (especially mounted) and that BFG's were slightly higher.

Sometimes for local shop recommendations, it helps to check out the Chapters, for New York, for instance.
