I was mesing around with my truck the other day. and a thought poped into my head. Dose it matter what side of the motor the PVC vavle is on?

Ok dumb question

There is no such thing as a "dumb" question! Some of us just need to ask more questions than others! That being said I would say the answer is "no". You'll often find, for example, the same engine configured differently for different applications. The PCV valve will be located wherever it seems to fit better. Whether it's on the right or left doesn't really matter.

Ok dumb question

the pvc valve must be 8.2 inches behind the water pump at an angle of 16.9 degrees to the left of the motor intersecting the valve cover at 80 degrees.....Just kidding it doesn't matter which side.
