uploading pics...
I was trying to upload some pictures to my gallery hoping I could post some pics but everytime I get to the 'edit gallery' to upload I get an error and it about shuts my computer down. I didn't know if there was something wrong with the site in this area or if it could be my poor ISP connection. Dial up does stink at times

Jeremy, I just tried to edit my gallery and it locked up on me. I will keep trying and see if I can get past this.
EDIT: I did like Justin said and it worked. I would always click yes on that before and never had a problem.

I ran into this problem on this site. It has to do with the java program. I uninstalled java and was ok from there. If you need me to help with the uninstall let me know and I'll go through it with you.

Good to see it works Rick. I have noticed the site has started to crash more often, it got me a few times yesterday.

my web browser shuts down along with disconnecting me. Just did it again while uploading. I just might be an ISP problem. I have dial up and cann't get anything else where we are at other then comcast and that would rock us $60 a month. What you said worked though about just closeing the security screen. Guess I just don't load any pictures for everyone to see. I will keep working with it and get more Peed. thanks again for the help.

I had that problem on FTE last night also. Your up loading pic problem is exactly the same that I had. This is what I did to fix it:
go to start menu..click on control panel...click on add\remove programs....give it a little time to populate the list. uninstall java not the run time enviorment. that's what I had to do. good luck!

OK now I am not good with computer programming. I don't see a jave but I see a js2e runtime environment 5.0 update 6? Is that what you said not to uninstal? Other then that, thats all I see.

Jeremy try and uninstall that one. I check my office computer and that's not on there. when i looked before i was on my daughters lap top. This site uses a java applet to allow you to drag and drop pics. I perfer to use the conventional browse button. Sorry if I confused you earlier.
