Ok what is the main difference between a 91 F-150 5.0L and a 94 F-150 5.0L. I know the 91 has only 185HP, but the 94 has 200 or 205HP. The engines look pretty much identical, so where does the HP difference come from?
How much higher? 5hp? The 185 vs 205 is because of the statement above, but manual/auto comment if you're saying is +/- 5hp that has nothing to do with the rollers it's because of the tranny.

Automatic- equipped 302 trucks(1994&up) were rated at 199 horsepower,manual-equipped 302 trucks carried the 205 horsepower rating.These are net horsepower figures.Actual real wheel horspower of pre-1994 flat tappet-cammed 302 truck engines was 133.8 horsepower.Ford lists 'taxable horsepower for 302 V-8-51.2hp.'The 1994& up roller-cammed engines should have a bit more rear wheel horsepower.The 185 net horsepower rating was from '85-'93.
