injectors?

i have a 96 4.9l and i want to install bigger injectors. the ones in there now are stock 15lbs and i want to up grade them to a accel 17lbs injector. would i have to change my fuel pressure regulator to an adjustable one.

The search function is a glorious thing. On a 96 with mass air you will probably need to have the MAF calibrated to the size of the injectors.

i have tried to find an aftermarket maf but failed to find one at all for a 4.9l

I would compare the stock part number to one for a 5.0 or 5.8. If they are the same you could use an aftermarket MAF for either of those.
