Hello from Colorado
I joined this forum a few days ago and figured I would introduce myself. I live in Pueblo, Colorado, about 100 miles south of Denver and own a 1979 and 1983 Bronco. Soon, I will be buying a 1979 F-250 with a 460 that I plan on converting to a 4x4 mud monster. My other purchase is going to be a 1996 Mustang 4.6 GT with a cold air induction system. The deals are WAY too good to pass up.
I joined to learn whhat ever I could as I restore my various vechicles. I'll give you the general layout of my 2 broncos.
The 1979 Bronco is pretty much stock with the 351M/400. It's an automatic with all wheel drive. (that's going to change real quick.) There is no lift kit on it (yet). It has the normal Dana 44 front and 9 inch rear axle. I plan on lifting it a total of 12 inches (3 body, 9 suspension) and putting at least 38's on it. I'll probably get 4.56 gears with the ARB air lockers for it. The paint and body are almost perfect. The same goes for the interior.
The 1983 Bronco I bought for $500. The deal was too good too pass up. It has a 4" suspension lift on it with 33" BFG all terrains powered by a 351W. The body is a little rough on the right side. It's mostly rust at the wheel wells. That's fairly easy to fix. The body is red with a black interior.
Most likely, I'll add a 3" body lift and play with the suspension lift kit to get an additional 2 or 3" out of it. The front end has a bumper guard on it that can handle either KC lights or a heavy winch (can anybody say 15,000 lb rated winch).
I look forward to chatting with you guys in the future, Stay safe and have fun in the dirt.

Those are some nice vehicles!
