Exhaust install gone wrong

Me and a few buddies tried to install the 4" magnaflow exhaust on my truck yesterday. It in turbo back with no cat or muffler. The exhaust turned out to be a little too short......it sits pretty close to the rear wheel, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. The problem is that the turbo sounds very weird. It's not that it's a louder whistle like I hear in videos of other ppls trucks, it sounds like a clacking noise (hard to explain like all noises) I am going to try to take a video of the noise to help. Does this sound normal? My friend thinks it's normal bc theres no cat, but i think theres deff something wrong. Another thing I notice is that if you stand by the tail pipe, there is a LOUD hissing noise, but I'm assuming thats normal bc of there not being a cat. Thanks for the help guys!

Tippmann undo the pipes and reseat them on the turbo, that hiss sounds like a leak and the clicking is likely a flange clamp not seated properly.

I have the Banks turbo back exhaust with no cat and mine has the hiss at idle so that is a normal sound.

As for the clacking noise, it shouldn't be doing that, check all your clamps and check closely the entire length of the exhaust to see if it is rubbing on a crossmember or something else and adjust accordingly.

That would do it. How does it sound now? I have MBRP Turbo back no cat and sometimes, no muffler. The turbo whine is more pronounced.

It's not bad at all with the windows up. Even with just the driver's side window down it's not bad; but with the passenger window down it is LOUD. It's also extremely loud if you're standing by the truck.
