Replacement parts from an 78-79 F-series or E-series

The ratchet mechanism is shot which from people being hard on it or pulling on the wheel to get in.

The alternative is a whole column.

so, a whole column would be the best way to go??? is that the only years that would be a direct swap? i need a new steering box too, what years would swap with that?, maybe even get both at once

TILT WHEEL PARTS 1978/96 F100/350 & BRONCO, etc.

Why mess with used parts?

You can buy the tilt wheel parts brand new from Ford.

E2TZ-3D661-A .. Locking Lever aka Ratchet Lever-this is the curved part with the serrations on it--it fails often (btw: E2TZ-3D661-A replaced D0AZ-3D661-A)
