1997 Premium Stereo Install - Help!
<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD id=intelliTxt vAlign=top width="100%"><!-- Ken : Vibrant tag -->Hey guys, my factory head unit finally crapped out and i am trying to install an aftermarket Sony unit in my 1994 F-250 PSD. Problem is, i cant find the adapter harness needed. I have installed multiple units in other ford trucks the same body style as this and all had two long thin plugs - one for power connections and one for speaker connections. This truck has the connector plug for the power connections but in place of the speaker wires is one thick gray wire with a small square plug on the end. I can only assume it is a premium sound system with a factory amp. So is there an adapter for this type? And where can i get one? None i have found will work. Also, splicing is NOT an option!
