My throttle pedal is unusally hard to push. I've driven other f150's and different trucks/cars and the pedals were easy to push. With my truck it seems like i have to have my boots on for some extra weight. The truck is a 93 and only has 67,000 miles on it, not sure if this could be the cause, or if its something else. Any idea's?
Onto the irratic idle. Whenever i start my truck up, warm days or not, the idle is high at first, the rpm drops after about a minute or so to under 1000. When i tap the gas (transmission in park), the rpms drop to around 500 then jumps up to over 1000. Meanwhile if i put the transmission in gear (any gear) the rpm goes up to over 1000. If i were to tap the throttle while in gear, it does the same as in park. I ran some seafoam through the gas and brake booster breather tube, but it didn't seem to have much effect.
