Guys Its been awhile since I've posted. Our 65 project is coming along nicely. But we have run into a snag. We are looking for a set of 302 motor mounts the local Junkyard has a pile of mounts but even their Ford Guy dug out a set of 240 mounts. I know they will fit but We can't have the Motor sitting that high. To many problems. I need a picture or a descrpition of the 302 Mounts to help me explain what I need to the parts guy. Anything would help this is putting the brakes on our project again. Thank You.

240 perches are the same as 1965/72 352/360/390 perches / 1977/79 351M/400 perches are the same as 302 perches.
I guess it didn't take my edit. Bill is right I'm looking for the perches not the mounts. I would be willing to bet since there is no PN there is no illustration..

There is a illustration for 1965/72 for all the engines, with different applications (engines/perches, etc.) shown on the same page. Section 60.1 / Page 5.
But it's a general illustration only for part number reference. That's not too reliable a pic to go by.
Gotta VENT WENT TO THE ONE AND ONLY TRUCK WRECKING YARD IN TOWN TO PICK UP SOME 77-79 MOTOR PERCHES(351M/400). THE FORD GUY THERE SAID TO USE THE 360 390 PERCHES WHICH ARE THE SAME AS THE 240 PERCHES. BUT ACCORDING TO THE SEARCHES I'VE DONE ON THIS FORUM 240/360/390 PERCHES WILL LEAVE THE MOTOR SITTING TO HIGH (WE'VE ALREADY TRIED THIS AND IT SITS TO HIGH) THEY DON'T WANT TO MESS WITH THIS OLD IRON THEY WOULD RATHER SELL IT FOR SCRAP. WHEN YOU GO IN ASKING FOR SOMETHING OUT OF THE MAINSTREAM THEY DON'T WANT TO LOOK. I WAS TOLD TODAY TO USE THE 302 MOTOR MOUNTS OUT OF A 74 P/U. OF COURSE THE LOCAL PARTS STORES ARE OUT SO I CAN'T COMPARE. HAS ANYONE ELSE MADE THIS WORK. DO THE 74 MOTOR MOUNTS LET THE MOTOR SIT LOWER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE. I REALLY COULD USE SOME GUIDANCE HERE. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATTHANKS
