Bone-yard beauties

Took the camera with me to the local wrecker on a parts search.

Some interesting Ford stuff.

Check out the pics in my gallery under "graveyard goodies" and tell me what you think of my brain-wave modifications.

Thanks for the pics. I'd kill for the chrome trim on the 63/64 Custom Cab.

Some nice parts on those slicks. The ones around here have been picked to the bone.

I really like that first cluster that you said you wondered how to get it in your 70. I'd be interested in it if you get back there and the price isn't too bad. If you go back, ask how much, and please PM me.

To bad in my area the salvage yards are sparse. I like the F700 dash; I looked at one my friend had; the RPM is limited (range) but looks cool as heck. I think everything could hook up & I wouldn't plug in the air pressure meter; I would get as much attachments as I could; just incase to installed later.

The dash plates will all fit between the F models.

It was all MPH in those days.

Getting all the gauges working would be the real challenge

I hope NumberDummy will soon identify them!!

This yard is approx 5 acres. We used to have a 40 acre yard 20 miles east.

It had hundreds of vintage trucks and cars.

The owner retired, sold the whole lot for scrap.

They brought in some shredders and chewed em all.
