Trouble with 6.0 ?
Drove my 05 6.0 today. It was running fine when I left this house this morning. A little later in the day when I tried to re-start it would start to fire up then stutter out. The engine was still slightly warm, the needle was just above the "C". It did that for about five start attempts, and then finally started with a bit of a rough idle. Drove it back home about 20 miles on the interstate and everything seemed fine. Later in the day after fully cooling down I attempted to drive again. It started right up, but had the rough idle. Soon after starting to drive I lost all power. The tach just sat at idle regardless of throtle. I am new to diesel. Does this sound like something common. Fuel filter, bad fuel? It got a new filter at the ford dealer with the last oil change.
