I was going to get rid of the adapter also but the crossmember would not allow a filter to come directly off the block. I'm sure I could reposition the adapter to clear the fuel pump.

I'm having the same slow post issue also....I noticed the server will be down sometime today..maybe that will clear it up

Lol! I remember the Chance.....seen Pat Travers there and many other bands...even had my going away party when I joined the Navy there. Also...when I fished BASS tourneys I found myself @ Candlewood lake and lake Winanoh (spelling?)....those were the days!!

well just so you know...I'm 46 also....47 next month and by those were the days.....life was much different between the yrs of 18 thru 30 I've mellowed considerably since then!

got her for 800.00 ,since ownership I've replaced the carb, timing chain/gears, all ignition parts/ fuel sending unit, volt guage, mech. oil press guage. A labor of love...lol
